FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

My child has diagnosed food allergies. How can Woodland accommodate his/her needs?

Unfortunately the manufacturers don't always list all food ingredients on our packaging, so we heir on the side of safety. Guests with food allergies or strict dietary requirements can eat what they're able to from the serving line and bring additional items to supplement with our menu. Guests will have access to a refrigerator/freezer and microwave in the dining room, so heat/serve items should be sent. If your child needs help with preparations, leader(s) from your child's church/group will need to provide assistance. Because of health regulations, guests will not have access to an oven or stove-top. Please be sure to label all of your child's food with his/her name and the group/church name. Summer Camp menus are available under the Summer Camp section of this site. Retreat menus (August - May) are sent to the group leaders about one week prior to arrival, so please contact your leader for this information.

Our group would like to schedule an event at Woodland. However, we do not have group liability insurance. Does Woodland require insurance coverage?

We HIGHLY recommend that all groups have general liability insurance (even if you don't own/rent a building). This is especially important to protect your ministry/organization from accidents, lawsuits, or disasters. Woodland does require a certificate of group liability insurance and/or individual liability release waivers for all of your attendees (depending on your event). Please consult with our staff at the time of booking to determine what will be required of your group.

+ Towel & washcloth Sports wear & tennis shoes (required if Ropes Course activities are scheduled)
+ Pajamas Bag for dirty clothes
+ Prescriptions/Medications taken regularly (consult with your group leader for any special instructions)
+ Completed Woodland release form (may be required depending on your group/church insurance coverage; required for Ropes Course activities)
+ Consult with your group leader or refer to registration information from your church/organization for any other items (spending money, medical information, etc.)

Is it okay to bring our dog while staying on-site or while dropping off/picking up our child?

Because of health codes and possible medical allergies of other guests, Woodland has a no pet policy, so please leave your favorite furry creatures at home.
