  • Pete Dockery

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Pete Dockery grew up in Loganville, GA and attended Corinth Christian Church. He graduated from Point University in 2001 and began full-time ministry with Casas por Cristo, a nonprofit based in El Paso, TX. He and his family served as missionaries with Casas por Cristo for more than 20 years, working in Juarez, Mexico and San Raymundo, Guatemala. During their tenure, the Dockerys helped 400 families by providing free, quality housing through their local churches. 

    Pete and his wife, Abby, have five children: Eden, Charlotte, Ezra, Solomon, and Samuel - long-time Woodland campers. Pete has served as a volunteer at Woodland; his wife, Abby, attended as a camper and also worked as Summer Staff. Woodland has held a special place in the heart of the Dockerys for over 30 years.

  • Kristin W. Niemeyer

    SENIOR DIRECTOR

    Kristin is a 2007 graduate of University of West Georgia. Since 1993, she has attended Woodland as a camper, worked as Summer Staff, and served as a volunteer. She started working full-time for Woodland in 2008, but grew up with a passion for Woodland throughout her entire life. Kristin served as a board member for Christian Camp Leaders from 2015-18 and led various conference workshops. She assisted with multiple projects for Organizational Performance Consulting and volunteers in the children's ministry at her church. She and her husband, James, reside in Temple with their son, Jacob Rook, and their crazy beagle named Rocket.

  • Scott Gregory

    DIRECTOR OF SERVICE OPERATIONS (retiring)

    Scott is a 1981 graduate of Point University (formerly Atlanta Christian College). He has served the camp in different capacities for over twenty-five years - volunteer, program director, and camp board member. He joined the Woodland team full-time in the Fall of 2018, after serving over thirty years in local church ministry. He and his wife, Lindy, have three daughters, Elise, Candler, and Kendall.

  • Benjie Fleming

    FACILITIES MANAGER (retiring)

    Benjie attended Chattahoochee Technical College and grew up in the Carrollton/Newnan area. God brought him to Woodland in 2014 (along with help from Johnny Westbrook). He and his wife, Carol, reside in Carrollton with their mini Australian shepherd named Zoe. They have three daughters, Lindsey, Lyndee, & Maddy, and eight grandchildren. Benjie serves as a deacon and volunteer in his church.

  • Mark Purser

    FACILITIES MANAGER

    Mark joined the Woodland team at the end of 2023. He grew up in Carrollton, but now resides in Bremen with his wife, Suzanne. They have one adult son, John Mark, and three dogs.

  • Kimberly Okojie

    OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

    Kim is a 2015 graduate of Point University with a degree in Child and Youth Development, Specialization in Early Childhood. She served as a Woodland Summer Staffer in 2011 and managed the Camp Store in 2021 & 2022. Kim joined the team full-time in June 2022. She resides in Carrollton and loves to travel and try new foods with her best pals!

  • Jo Turner

    GUEST SERVICES COORDINATOR
    Jo is a 2022 graduate of Toccoa Falls College with a degree in Outdoor Leadership Education. From 2017-2020, Jo served at Woodland in multiple capacities including Summer Staff, Intern, and Program Facilitator. Upon graduating, he rejoined the team full-time in August 2022 and now resides in Carrollton with his wife, Lydia.

  • Daniel Cottongim

    PROGRAM FACILITATOR

    Daniel joined the full-time Woodland team in May 2023, but also served as Summer Staff from 2017-2020. He is a University of North Georgia student and a lover of music. He enjoys playing brass instruments and the piano. Daniel lives in Carrolton with his cat, Cheeto.

  • Jason Westbrook

    LANDSCAPING

    Jason has served at Woodland in different capacities since 1992 - Summer Staff, volunteer, full and part-time staff. He is a graduate of Point University, has a Master's Degree in Leadership from Grand Canyon University, and is also a certified GA EMT Intermediate. He and his wife Sarah have two sons, Jackson and John, and reside in Carrollton. Their entire family serves as volunteers in their church. Jason also serves as a Chaplain for Tanner Health System.
