Our 120 acre wooded site is yours to enjoy as you retreat at Woodland! Come learn, relax, play and grow at one of our unique facilities. Woodland is ideal for youth retreats, summer camps, adult retreats, and much more. Our facility is located in Temple, 45 minutes west of Atlanta (30 mins. beyond Six Flags on I-20).

Retreat Rental

(August - May)

Woodland's facilities and beautiful wooded setting offer a unique environment for your Retreat or event! For people of all ages, Woodland is a refuge for recreation and renewal. 


Woodland provides: lodging, meeting room, and a variety of self-led activities
(Additional programmed activities listed below.) 


Church/Group manages: large group sessions / worship, small groups, recreation activities, and first aid / supervision


Lodging: $31 - $36 per person, per night


Meals: $8.50 per breakfast, $9.50 per lunch, & $10.50 per dinner (per person)

Your group may be able to handle your own meals, depending on your facility and date (for an additional charge).


Retreat Rental Facilities available at Woodland:

(Required minimums will change when combining multiple facilities.)

  • Junction Camp: 150 total beds, 75 person minimum ($31 per person, per night)
  • North Camp: 86 total beds, 35 person minimum ($31 per person, per night)
  • South Camp: 65 total beds, 25 person minimum ($31 per person, per night)
  • Heritage Camp: 54 total beds, 25 person minimum ($36 per person, per night)
  • Heritage Retreat Lodges: 32 total beds, 16 person minimum ($36 per person, per night)
  • additional $15 per person for a 1-night only stay
  • additional $5 per person if arriving before 12PM / additional $5 per person if departing after 2PM
  • additional $10 for kitchen usage, if choosing to handle your own meals
  • Day Guests: $5 for a half-day (on-site less than 4 hrs);  $10 for a full-day (4 hours or more on-site)

Included Activities (self-led):

  • canoes, kayaks, & paddle boats (life jackets & paddles provided) 
  • fishing (bring your own equipment; catch & release) 
  • disc golf (we provide frisbees & scorecards) 
  • hiking trails (maps available)

Retreat Deposit: $250 or 10% (whichever is greater) / non-refundable, non-transferable


Cancellation/change Policy:  > 3 months


Discount pricing is only available for monthly supporting churches and returning/repeat groups (returning within 12 months of previous event).

Summer Camp RENTAL

(Memorial Day - early August)


For our Summer Camp Rental program, you bring your group (campers & adult chaperones) and run your own camp!


Woodland provides: lodging, meeting room, meals, and recreation facilitators (lifeguards, archery instructors, ropes course facilitators)


Church/Group manages: large group sessions / worship, theme, small groups, first aid / medication, self-led recreation activities, and camper supervision


2024 Summer Camp Rental options


MODERATE:
Woodland will provide up to 2 facilitated activities in one programming block (when multiple activities are available)

5 night programs: $300 per person

4 night programs: $260 per person

3 night programs: $220 per person

2 night programs: $155 per person


PREMIER:

Woodland will provide up to 3 facilitated activities in one programming block (when multiple activities are available)

5 night programs: $310 per person

4 night programs: $270 per person

3 night programs: $230 per person

2 night programs: $165 per person


+ $10 per person, if staying at Heritage Camp or Heritage Retreat Lodges

*Rates include lodging, one meeting room, and all activities. A snack is available twice-a-day for an additional $3 per person, per snack-time. 


Arrival time is between 4-5PM; departure is 11AM.


Summer Camp Facility options:

Junction Camp: 150 total beds, 115 person minimum

North Camp: 82 total beds, 60 person minimum

South Camp: 78 total beds, 50 person minimum

Heritage Camp: 54 total beds, 40 person minimum

Heritage Retreat Lodges: 48 total beds, 25 person minimum


Summer Camp Deposit: $1,000 / non-refundable, non-transferable


Cancellation/change Policy:  > 6 months


Summer Camp Activities facilitated by Woodland Staff:

Water activities on our 8 acre lake: canoes, kayaks, & paddle boats

Swimming Pools;  Slip-n-Slide

Archery;  Inflatable Slide & Bounce House

Ropes Course (low elements / team-building) 

High Ropes Course: 2-line Zip Wire / Giant Swing / Catwalk / Climbing Tower

Indoor Climbing Wall;  Pedal Karts / Crazy Bikes

(Each activity has certain grade level requirements. Activities are chosen by the Group Leader based on their Programming Schedule assigned by Woodland.) 


Summer Camp Self-led Activities (facilitated by your adults):

Fishing (we provide equipment; catch & release)

Disc Golf (frisbees & scorecards provided) 

Hiking trails (maps available) 

Campfire area (materials provided) 

Recreation field for games (we provide basic recreation equipment -- footballs, soccer balls, kickballs, etc.)

HERITAGE CAMP

The Heritage Retreat Lodges are designed for small groups or can easily be rented in combination w/Heritage Camp. (Minimum # increases)

(2 internal meeting rooms hold additional 8 beds each during summer)

All meals are provided by Woodland, as there is no kitchen available for group usage.

Meeting Room Options:

  • Heritage Retreat Lodge meeting rooms 502 & 505 - holds 16-20 people each; These meeting rooms are located in between the lodging rooms.
  • Outdoor Education Center (OEC) - holds 65 people and includes two restrooms, water fountain, refrigerator/freezer, and microwave; The OEC is located a short walk away from the Retreat Lodges. 

One meeting room is included with your rental. For group's desiring multiple meeting areas, the OEC can be rented for an additional charge (based on availability). 

HERITAGE INN (room rental for Retreat/Summer Groups)

$25 per room, per night (4 beds each)


The Heritage Inn is hotel-style housing perfect for your group leader, guest speaker, or band. 


3 rooms available: 4 beds (1 double/full size bed & 3 twin size beds), private bathroom, and desk area

Guests should bring their own linens.
All areas are climate controlled with HVAC units.


The Heritage Inn is located at Heritage Camp, but is available for rental by any Summer Camp or Retreat rental group. (Guests staying in the Heritage Inn will be charged the same per-person fee as all other attendees in your group.)

JUNCTION CAMP

Junction Camp RETREAT: 150 total beds, 75 person minimum ($31 p/person p/night) 

SUMMER CAMP RENTAL: 150 total beds, 100-115 person minimum


Get on board our railroad theme camp! Junction Camp has 12 boxcars that have been converted into cabins and bathhouses. The central building is a two level structure that houses the dining facility upstairs and a meeting room downstairs. 

18 lodging rooms with 8 bunks each

4 bathhouses

2 director rooms w/3 bunks & interior bathroom in each

All guests should bring their own linens. 

All areas are climate controlled with HVAC units.

North Camp RETREAT: 86 total beds, 35 person minimum ($31 p/person p/night)

SUMMER CAMP RENTAL: 82 total beds, 60 person minimum


Stay at North Camp and be surrounded by a beautiful canopy of treetops!

North Camp area includes: Recreation Field, basketball, Gaga Ball, tetherball, volleyball, and the North Campfire Area - beautifully nestled next to the Woodland lake

(Rental of the North Pool is available May - August.)


Meeting Room Options: 

  • North Dining Facility - This is the included meeting room for North Camp during Retreat season (Aug-May). Meeting room seats 165 w/large kitchen. Two additional side rooms are available for rental and hold 50-60 people each (extra cost). 
  • West Chapel - The West Chapel is an additional meeting room available for large group usage/rental. For Summer Camp Rentals, the West Chapel can be used as the included meeting room (based on availability). This space holds 400 and includes restrooms, water fountain, and refrigerator/freezer. 
  • Outdoor Education Center - For Summer Camp Rentals, the Outdoor Education Center (OEC) can be used as the included meeting room (based on availability). This space holds 65 people and includes two restrooms, water fountain, refrigerator/freezer, and microwave. (For group's desiring multiple meeting areas, this meeting room can be rented for an additional charge -- based on availability.)

One meeting room is included for your event. During Retreat season, the North Dining Facility is the included meeting room. For groups over 50, the West Chapel could be used in place of the North Dining Facility, or it could be rented as a second meeting space for an additional charge -- based on availability. Additional meeting rooms can be rented for an extra charge, based on availability.

SOUTH CAMP

South Camp RETREAT: 65 total beds, 25 person minimum ($31 p/person p/night)

SUMMER RENTAL: 78 total beds, 50 person minimum


South Camp offers a quiet pine tree setting at the rear of our property.
