Joey and his wife, Cindy (who serves as Office Manager), started at Woodland in 1981. However, Joey grew up coming to Woodland as a camper and volunteer; he actually attended the very first camp in 1969. He and Cindy have two children, Jason & Kristin, and three grandsons. Joey serves as a guest lecturer at his alma mater, Point University, and also consults with camps, churches, and non-profits on their journey to organizational excellence. Organizational Performance Consulting (a department of WCC) focuses on organizational assessments, system analysis, bylaw assessment, board development, child protection systems, site / Ropes Course design, and Biblical leadership. He is a member of Christian Camp & Conference Association, Society for Human Resource Management, and Christian Leadership Alliance.
Kristin W. Niemeyer
Kristin is a 2007 graduate of University of West Georgia. Since 1993, she has attended Woodland as a camper, worked as Summer Staff, and served as a volunteer. She started working full-time for Woodland in 2008 and also serves on the board for Christian Camp Leaders. She and her husband, James, have a one-year-old son, Jacob Rook; they reside in Temple with their dog, Sheldon.
Associate Director of Programming
Anthony began serving at Woodland in 2007 as Summer Staff. He attended Woodland as a camper in high school and is a 2010 graduate of Point University. He and his wife, Jenn, met while working at Woodland; they now reside in Temple and volunteer with the youth department at Bethany Christian Church in Carrollton.
Benjie attended Chattahoochee Technical College and grew up in the Carrollton/Newnan area. God brought him to Woodland in 2014 (along with help from Johnny). He and his wife, Carol, reside in Powder Springs and have three daughters, Lindsey, Lyndee, & Maddy, and eight grandchildren.
Support Services Manager
Jeffrey is a 2011 graduate of Milligan College. He attended Woodland as a camper and volunteer for sixteen years, served as Summer Staff for two years, and started working full-time in 2011. He and his wife, Elissa, met while working at Woodland; they reside in Temple with their daughter, Micaiah.
Cindy attended Atlanta Christian College (now Point University), where she met her husband and Executive Director, Joey. She worked at Trust Company Bank and served in youth ministry alongside Joey for seven years. In 1981, the Lord led them to Woodland. She and Joey loved raising their two children at camp; she now enjoys seeing their three grandsons, Jackson, John, & Jacob follow in their footsteps.
Jenn began serving at Woodland in 2009 as Summer Staff. She gained her passion for ministry through University of West Georgia's Christian Campus Fellowship and by volunteering with the youth at Bethany Christian Church in Carrollton. Jenn attends University of West Georgia. She and husband, Anthony, are blessed to call Woodland home.
Food Service Coordinator
Jason has served at Woodland in different capacities since 1992. He is a graduate of Point University and is currently pursuing his masters at Grand Canyon University. Jason also works for the City of Carrollton as a full-time Firefighter/EMT. He and his wife Sarah have two sons, Jackson and John, and reside in Carrollton.
Johnny has been serving as a full-time, on-site volunteer since 2010. He grew up in Lithia Springs and is retired from Southern Railway. He raised two children, Josh & Mandy, and now has three grandchildren, Kenzie, Kaitlyn, and Blaine.
